A watchlist is a list of stocks being monitored for potential trading or investing opportunities.
An investor/trader may create a watchlist of several trading instruments to make more informed and opportune investment decisions.

A watchlist help an investor/trader track companies and stay abreast of financial or other news that could impact these instruments.
Typical, an investor/trader monitors the list using both fundamental and technical analysis as well as subscribing into buying and selling signal without needing to read and digest each company’s financials or reading/studying the technical charts of each companies.
